A book that I have read several times. It is not for every man, I know that now, but I like the atmosphere of the book and its main character. The author takes us on a dangerous journey in which a woman searches for her stepson, has to brave the wilderness and solve a murder in the process. She is accompanied by a quiet, mysterious native.

I'm not really into bloody things, but when it comes to Special Agent Pendergast's cases, I have to get involved. I love these dark cases that always move on the edge of the real world. The whole team around the agent is fascinating and quite humorous.
